CARROT AND SWEDE SMASH


Serves 2

2 carrots 
1/2 swede
25g butter
salt and black pepper

Peel carrots and cut into rings.
Peel swede and cut into chunks.
Place together in a pan of boiling water. Bring back to the boil and simmer for about 40 minutes.
Then drain and roughly mash with some butter. 
Season well and serve.
