Drain 1 tin of button mushrooms.
Place 2tbsp of plain flour on a plate and season well with salt and black pepper.
Crack 1 egg into a bowl and whisk with 1tbsp milk.
Put 100g panko breadcrumbs on a separate plate.
Put the mushrooms into the flour, then the egg, then coat in the breadcrumbs. (You may need to add more breadcrumbs as you go along.)
Spray with oil.
Cook (in batches if necessary) in the base of the air fryer for about 15 minutes, turning part way through.
Serve with garlic mayonnaise.
